Supported Living Services

What is supported living?

Supported living services help young people from the age of 18+ for those with and without disabilities to live as independently as possible through education and employment.

  • We help young adults living in care, asylum seekers and those that are homeless or needing some kind of independent support.

What does supported living mean?

At the heart of this service is practical and emotional support to help young adults live independently or semi-independently.

How does supported living work?

We appreciate that everyone is unique and we respond accordingly to ensure quality of day-to-day life – even if behaviour can be challenging. Our staff operate a system of person-centred planning and robust risk assessment, so we can guarantee your loved one is able to access opportunities and have fun. Ensuring consistency in the delivery of the behavioural plan is vital therefore to reduce any unnecessary incidents. We strive to build the very best of relationships with those we’re privileged enough to be able to support. We are fortunate in being able to support Reading Borough Council providing care services for adults and young people with learning disability and challenging behaviour.
