We begin monitoring staff from the very beginning of the recruitment process.


Our recruitment and vetting procedures comprise of the following checks:-

  • A completed application form through which we are able to identify satisfactory employment history
  • A completed health questionnaire
  • 2 written references, one from the most recent/previous employer
  • We conduct two stage interviews, both written and face-to-face
  • A satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and POVA check
  • DBS update service applies
  • A full induction which includes training in health and safety, fire safety, core care standards and regulations including confidentiality, whistle blowing, legislation requirements, policies and procedures of any organisation together with a code of personal conduct. The induction runs across 12 weeks.
